Passionate about waterfront access and sustainable boating, Evan also founded the Little Traverse Bay Foundation, dedicated to preserving the region’s natural beauty, and

Having grown up on the Great Lakes; Captain Tim's passion for boating comes from a bloodline of mariners. Fishing with his grandfather as a child on Lake Huron sparked an urge to explore the globe by water. Racing sailing yachts long distances from coast to coast and working through Michigan winters in the merchant marines has laid a firm foundation of diverse experience. Capt. Tim has a 100 ton master captains license with sailing and towing endorsements as well as an inland pilot license.
